A little bit of precipitation couldn’t stop us from having fun today, as the campers FINALLY arrived! We picked our choice acts, learned some new (and remembered some old) cheers, and had a nice family-style dinner to celebrate the start of the session. Opening Campfire may have been indoors, but we still had fun singing our favorite “Stand Up” songs and watching some silly skits from our staff before our traditional visit from Chief Acquitimaug. We are all in need of a good night’s sleep before our big first FULL day tomorrow!
