Introducing “Woodstock @ Home” and our first virtual camp counselors
Camp Woodstock is pleased to announce a brand new experiment in summer camping. We are bringing the spirit of Camp Woodstock to your home in an interactive Virtual Camp experience. We’re calling it “Woodstock @ Home.”
Watch our live Q&A (June 22nd)
Our campers know that a week at Woodstock is unlike a week at any other camp. And so Woodstock @ Home will be unlike any other virtual camp or virtual classroom. We will offer a unique mix of live video-chat sessions, offline independent challenges, and evening programming of live or recorded video. But what makes Woodstock @ Home really special, is how our talented staff will adapt our traditions, games, and friendship focused programming for a virtual connection.
Meet Virtual Camp Director, Kate-Lynn “Hyph” Walsh!
Hyph is a longtime Woodstocker from Tolland, CT. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in meteorology and math. Hyph is well known around camp for her love of ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and playing music. Hyph says, “I’m excited to continue the tradition and spirit of Camp Woodstock for those who are not able to join us for Day Camp in a new, virtual setting!”
Meet Virtual Senior Counselor, Ben Grossman!
Ben is a longtime Woodstocker from Simsbury, CT. When he’s not in the pines, he attends Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore where he majors in communications and political science. Ben is known around camp for his love of nature, playing music, and his inability to catch a fish. He is an avid musician and a committed runner as well. Ben says, “I’m excited to get to work with this new platform and see some familiar camp faces online!”
