A Note From Our 2023 Campaign Chair:

As we step into a new year and a new century at Camp Woodstock, we reflect on what incredible the strength, determination, dedication, and passion are present within our Camp family! The last few years were challenging, to say the least, for everyone as we navigated a worldwide pandemic. Camp faced issues it had never seen before from closing its doors in the beginning, to opening a limited day camp, to opening overnight camp again and testing every single camper at check-in. However, these hurdles were just that – hurdles – challenges and roadblocks that Camp found a way to persevere through and overcome.

One of the most evident things about Camp Woodstock over the last 100 years is that it is resilient and ever-growing. We, the family, are resilient and ever-growing. Despite the setbacks through the pandemic, Camp was able to accomplish a great deal as it bounced back in 2022. In June, over 450 people from as far back as the ‘50s attended the 100th anniversary celebration. They reunited with friends, shared cheers and games, and swapped stories of their time at Camp. Over the summer, Camp’s trails were filled with the laughter and joy of over 1,200 campers as they attended overnight camp again. And throughout the year, the staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to raise over $1.2 million to support Camp’s Capital Campaign. These successes are entirely thanks to the people who make up our Camp family. These successes are entirely thanks to you!

As we look ahead into the next year and we plan for Camp Woodstock’s next 100 years, would you consider the impact Camp has had on your life throughout the last century? What relationships has it fostered? What skills and characteristics has it helped you or your children develop?

We have an amazing opportunity to help others experience the same strength, determination, dedication, and passion of the Camp Woodstock family that we all know and love. With your help, we can allow more young people to attend Camp and have their lives changed. If you’re ready to help us welcome over 100 kids to the Camp Woodstock family this summer, you can make a donation to the Annual Campaign!
